advoKate Run/Walk is a fun, family-oriented event for persons of a wide range of fitness levels, attracting active families and individuals from all over Southeast Michigan. It takes place at the beautiful Rochester Municipal Park in downtown Rochester adjacent to the Paint Creek Trial. The unique event also features a special post-run/walk celebration with activities for children. All participants receive an official event t-shirt and info packet.

Attendence has consistently increased each year since the start in 2007, with 600+ participants and their families present in 2009.

We are actively seeking event sponsors and donations to support the run/walk. Monetary proceeds are tax deductible* and go directly to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital for pediatric brain tumor research. Contributions of promotional items, food, and services are welcome.
